Stephanie J. Coopman is Professor of Communication Studies at San Jose State University and has taught public speaking for over 25 years. In addition to her classroom assignments in public speaking, she regularly teaches a variety of courses online, trains university faculty in online teaching skills, develops and maintains websites, and is a past editor of the American Communication Journal, the premier peer-reviewed online journal in communication. Dr. Coopman earned her online facilitator certificate in 1998.
