![]() Kenya D. Haney Elected 2009-2010 NSNA President
Kenya D. Haney was elected as the 2009-10 President of the National Student
Nurses’ Association (NSNA) during the 57th Annual Convention in Nashville,
TN, April 15-19, 2009. Ms. Haney is a junior pursuing a BSN at the University
of Missouri in Saint Louis, MO, and brings leadership experience and an enthusiastic,
upbeat attitude to her new position.
Annual Convention Draws Over 3,100 Attendees Over 3,100 participants attended the National Student Nurses’ Association’s (NSNA) 57th Annual Convention in Nashville, TN, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. The Convention program included numerous focus sessions, faculty workshops, two outstanding plenary sessions, over 180 Career Expo exhibit booths, and the Drexel University NCLEX® EXCEL! Mini-review course.

Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International’s Virginia Henderson
International Library is the “Hidden Jewel” of Nursing Research
NSNA Vice President Laura Chapman discovered a hidden jewel in nursing research, and she wants all of her fellow nursing student to know about it. A senior BSN student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Chapman logs on to the Virginia Henderson International Library at least eight times a week to research her papers and projects.
