New to the Master Student series!

Becoming a Master Student is all about taking action. From the first article in the text to the final journal entry, students are encouraged to use the ideas presented to get the most out of their education. As students discover techniques that work for them, they will be on their way to developing a unique style of learning that they can use for the rest of their lives.

The Thirteenth Edition is full of new and revised ideas that students and instructors helped to inspire. The new Master Student in Action feature in the text highlights how new strategies can be put into practice, while new Master Students in Action Videos allow students to see and hear directly from their peers. 

A new Skills Snapshot at the end of each chapter encourages students to implement what they are learning and reflect on the Discovery Wheel they completed in Chapter 1.
