South-Western, Aplia™, and The Gulf Coast Economics Association are proud to announce the Fourth Annual Economics Teaching Conference—hosted in San Antonio, Texas—on Thursday, November 6th and Friday, November 7th.
Continuing New Horizons
Economics instructors at community colleges and universities are coming under pressure to educate an ever increasing and diverse student population. While there are large amounts of resources such as videos, compact discs, the Internet, instructor’s manuals and the like, we wanted to create a professional association where you can interact with your fellow colleagues that are operating on the front lines just like you.
With the busy schedules that most of us have, we often don’t often have the opportunity to spend quality time with our colleagues in the profession. We know that you take great pride in your craft and are interested in taking it to even higher levels. We hope you’ll consider making this conference a part of your professional development.
Presenting N. Gregory Mankiw, Allan Meltzer, James Henderson, and John Taylor
Designed to give you the chance to interact with your fellow economics colleagues, to discuss important economic topics, and to learn what’s new in the profession, this two-day conference presents N. Gregory Mankiw, Allan Meltzer, James Henderson, and John Taylor as keynote speakers.
