A call for business case studies
Gale, a part of Cengage Learning, is one of the world's leading academic publishers with noted reference brands such as Macmillan Reference USA™, Charles Scribner's Sons® and Primary Source Media™. We are currently seeking case studies for our international business research database, Gale Business Insights: Global, and future volumes of the CaseBase: Case Studies in Global Business Series.
Topic Focus
Case studies with an international focus:
- in emerging markets or countries
- emerging global issues
Format
Case studies should include:
- learning objectives
- a series of questions linked to the learning objectives
- detailed format and requirements will be provided
Submission Process
Please download, fill out, and submit the proposal form. Proposals will be reviewed within 3 to 6 weeks of being received. Upon acceptance of the proposal, authors will be invited to submit the final case. Detailed guidelines for format, style and content will be provided at that time.
Acceptance criteria include:
- the currency and/or importance of the topic
- whether the case fills a gap in the current case literature
- the value of the case to an instructor or in the classroom

Objective
To complement the study of business and business-related topics. Cases that supplement business textbooks or that have been used in the classroom by the author are especially welcome.
Publication Process
Case studies approved for publication will be included in Gale Business Insights: Global international business research database. A subset of cases will be chosen by editors to be included in the CaseBase Series, published in June of each year.
Deadlines
Proposals will be received, accepted, and cases published electronically in Gale Business Insights: Global throughout the year.
Honorarium
An honorarium will be paid for cases approved for publication.
