November 2011 Library Journal Review:

"Bottom Line: This is a sophisticated database with powerful search capabilities that are easy to use. The content is mostly very good, and the way in which Gale has interwoven the various pieces of information makes for a product that goes beyond simply providing stand-alone collections of information?it enables researchers to see complex relationships clearly and to get fuller stories than mere data alone can convey. I give it a nine and recommend it to libraries serving undergraduate and graduate business and social science researchers." Cheryl LaGuardia, Library Journal reviewer and Research Librarian at Harvard University

February 2012 Choice Review:

"Gale Business Insights: Global is a powerful, user-friendly, fully integrated country, company, and NAICS-based industry database. Moderately broad in depth of coverage (but still growing), it boasts facile navigation, excellent speed, and relatively robust comparative statistical reporting capabilities. One of its most valuable components, which is lacking in rival database Hoover's (review of Hoover's Academic, CH, Jul '07, 44-6011) is the availability of 900-plus multidisciplinary full-text case studies that are easily searchable; related content, including overviews, articles, and news, is linked directly to search results."  L. C. Gordon, University of La Verne

April 2012 Booklist Review:

"Overall, this is a good resource for both undergraduate and graduate business-school students. The site offers plenty of unique features, such as the six-item comparison, and an impressive number of graphing and data-conversion options. Case studies add extra depth. Gale Business Insights: Global is recommended to libraries serving business-school students." — Jennifer Michaelson, Booklist Online/www.booklistonline.com
